Safety-Kleen in Brampton ON is currently looking for a General Laborer / Operator to join their safety-conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with container turnaround/cleaning on site, flagman for landfill dumps, painting, housekeeping and all other labor duties around the site.

Responsibilities
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; Operates oil filter crusher machine; Prepares bulk wastes for shipment to other Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors and/or 3rd party locations; Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements; Operates a forklift when necessary, responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating; Completes daily/weekly facility inspections as required; Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures; Ensures, understands, and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards; Inventory and ensure warehouse, loading and unloading areas are cleaned and organized at all times.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience is an asset; Hazardous materials work experience preferred; Forklift experience considered an asset; Valid G License required; Dependable and detail-oriented; Strong Customer service skills required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; Willing to train the right candidate.
