Purpose of the role
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the E-Commerce Specialist plays a key role in the evolution, optimization and overall performance of La Vie en Rose’s e-commerce platforms. They actively contribute to defining and implementing digital strategies aimed at supporting sales growth, customer experience and operational performance.
The role acts as a subject matter expert by analyzing performance, identifying business opportunities, and recommending strategic and innovative initiatives. They also coordinate e-commerce projects and ensure the application of best practices to optimize the customer journey, operational efficiency, and, in partnership with the digital merchandising team, product presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the development, evolution and execution of e-commerce strategies to support growth and performance objectives
- Plan and optimize daily website activities to ensure a seamless and high-performing customer experience
- Manage and evolve the web calendar in alignment with business priorities, marketing campaigns and commercial objectives
- Collaborate closely with content, creative, marketing and technology teams to deliver cohesive and high-performing digital initiatives
- Oversee brief preparation, coordinate testing phases and ensure quality control for launches and new functionalities
- Act as a key point of contact for e-commerce project follow-up, ensuring alignment of stakeholders, priorities and timelines
- Analyze e-commerce performance indicators and interpret data to provide strategic recommendations and actionable plans
- Proactively identify optimization opportunities related to conversion, user experience and customer journey
- Contribute to continuous improvement of UX/UI, including navigation, content, functionalities and digital best practices
- Support the optimization of internal processes and the evolution of ways of working to improve operational efficiency
- Use artificial intelligence tools and technological solutions to optimize operations, support analysis and enhance customer experience
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date on trends, innovations and best practices in e-commerce
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, external partners and suppliers
- Support decision-making by bringing an analytical, strategic and results-driven perspective

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, commerce, management or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in an e-commerce role
- Experience in retail and/or fashion (an asset)
- Experience with Optimizely (an asset)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or other performance analytics tools
- Knowledge of Power BI (an asset)
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in French and English, spoken and written (role requires communication outside of Quebec)
- May require availability outside regular working hours depending on business needs
