About the role

Job Summary And Requirements This is a until –filled competition. Candidates are encouraged not to delay submitting their application as this posting can close at any time after 10 business days with 24-hours posted notice. Resumes will be screened at regular intervals until the position is filled or the competition closes, whichever is earliest. This posting This posting will be used to fill 1 term (anticipatory permanent), full-time positions working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12 month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

Who We Are Looking For The Income Support Unit is looking for motivated, collaborative Case Managers who are committed to providing supports to clients who require assistance in the areas of income support, employment, and crisis management.

The case manager will work collaboratively with clients to identify needs, develop plans to support financial stability and connect them to appropriate community resources.

Important Application And Job Requirements Essential qualifications Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Degree and/or diploma in psychology, sociology, criminology as well as other related fields of study will be considered. An applicant enrolled in their 3 rd or 4 th year of a Bachelor of Social Work Degree will be considered.
  • Experience working with case plans (developing, implementing, assisting or reviewing).
  • Work experience in a social services field.
