Senior Web & Mobile Consultant (Ext JS / Ionic Capacitor)
About the role
Job Description We are seeking an experienced consultant with deep expertise in Ext JS (Sencha) and Ionic Capacitor to support the upcoming implementation of a new web and mobile application platform. This role will be hands-on while also acting as a trusted advisor and mentor to the client’s development team.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery of mobile solutions using Ext JS front-end applications wrapped/deployed via Ionic Capacitor (iOS/Android/web)
- Mentor and up-skill in-house developers in selected tools, frameworks and mobile deployment best practices
- Collaborate closely with the client’s team, working full-day during Pacific Time hours
- Assist with configuration, setup, testing and rollout of the mobile solution as required
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Ext JS (Sencha) and Ionic Capacitor in real-world applications
- Strong web development skills: HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and mobile deployment knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, especially in remote collaboration contexts
- Prior experience as a consultant or mentor: able to lead technical discussions and enable less experienced developers
- Nice to have: Familiarity with DB2 iSeries
- Nice to have: Experience with mobile device management/deployment solutions such as Microsoft Intune
Engagement Details
- Start: Immediately (within ~2–4 weeks)
- Initial Duration: Approximately 2–3 months (with possible extension)
- Hours: Remote, collaborating full-day during Pacific Time
- Interview Process: One technical interview round
