Wells Fargo is seeking a Benefits Associate. This role is for a vacancy in our Toronto office.
This role will work closely with the regional Human Resource Consulting and Center of Excellence teams, Payroll, Finance, and Vendor Management functions. The position will report to the Head of Benefits but on a day-to-day basis the work will be directed by the Benefits Lead.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of one or more Benefits programs designed to meet company and individual needs
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with internal departments to ensure necessary flow of information
- Review individual needs and resolve problems based on company policy and plan documents, as well as related practices, precedents, and procedures
- Be responsible for preparing and filing required government filings and update applications with participant changes and coordinate payroll reconciliations
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of Benefits functional area, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Provide information to Benefits managers, colleagues, and stakeholders related to the Benefits programs
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Benefits, Human Resources or Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Workday HRIS
- Familiar in Excel and PowerPoint
- Professional working proficiency in French is an asset but not a must
Job Expectations:
- This role offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence required on designated days
- Ability to work on-site at the posted work location
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
