About the role

Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Coordinator, Leasing & Property Services.

Reporting to the Director, Leasing & Property Services, the Coordinator supports the Leasing and Property Services in the operation of the portfolio by collaborating with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully support leased space requests and planning, the delivery of work order requests, ensuring efficient space utilization and supporting the completion of projects in leased space throughout the Northern Health region. The Coordinator also contributes to the Capital Planning and Leasing policy and process development, supporting lease and service contract development and monitoring, and space allocation.

Starting salary will be approximately from $67,861 to $84,826 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in business, health or public administration program plus three (3) to five (5) years of recent related experience with public and/or private sector commercial real estate projects within a large complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate would be an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge and experience in preparation and management of lease agreements and service contracts.

  • High degree of proficiency with standard MS Office suite and advanced features of office computer applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint software.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders while exercising professionalism, tact, confidentiality and discretion.

  • Ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment, including working under pressure, adapting and responding to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Demonstrated superior organizational, project and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal direction.

  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to analyse and define problems, establish facts and identify short and long term solutions.
