Job Description Objectif de ce Poste Le directeur commercial de la logistique et de la chaîne d'approvisionnement est chargé de développer et de vendre le service logistique de DP World à travers le Canada. Il s'agit notamment d'apporter une valeur ajoutée aux clients et de soutenir les activités des ports et des terminaux. Il dirige également l'exécution de la stratégie commerciale pour chacune des unités commerciales du Canada.
Principales Responsabilités
- Élaborer des plans pour mettre en œuvre la stratégie logistique de DP World Canada, y compris les parcs logistiques, la logistique NVOCC/3rd Party, le transport maritime à courte distance et l'ensemble de l'offre de produits de DP World Logistics.
- Collaborer avec les propriétaires de cargaisons pour assurer une gestion efficace des relations en coordination avec l'équipe commerciale, et ce, en privilégiant les interactions en personne avec les clients.
- Découvrir de nouvelles opérations commerciales, analyser la contribution de ces activités et coordonner les ressources nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux services, le cas échéant.
- Évaluer les questions financières et économiques afin d'identifier les opportunités et les risques commerciaux.
- Collaborer avec la direction générale en fournissant des mises à jour et des solutions dans les domaines liés à l'impact commercial des projets.
- Contribuer à la structure des prix et aux modèles financiers des différents services de DP World Logistics Services afin d'évaluer la rentabilité future des opportunités commerciales.
Connaissances Et Qualifications
- Diplôme en gestion, commerce ou dans un domaine connexe avec des connaissances en économie et en analyse quantitative.
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en gestion générale dans un autre 3PL (licence NVOCC est un atout).
- Gestion réussie de toutes les relations avec les principales parties prenantes, y compris les actionnaires et les agences gouvernementales externes.
- Compétences analytiques, conceptuelles et de résolution de problèmes de haut niveau.
- Sens aigu des affaires et expérience de la gestion et de la compréhension de contrats commerciaux complexes.
- Engagement fort en faveur de l'excellence du service à la clientèle et capacité à nouer des relations solides.
- Connaissance des statistiques, de l'analyse des tendances macroéconomiques affectant l'entreprise, des mesures commerciales et des bases financières.
- Compétences en communication écrite et orale exceptionnelles, y compris la capacité d'influencer, de négocier et de mener des présentations formelles.
- Connaissance des processus de planification stratégique et capacité à élaborer une planification de projet à court et à long terme et à gérer les coûts financiers des projets.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français.
- Expérience de travail au Canada ou expérience de travail directe avec les industries canadiennes.
Role Purpose The Manager, Commercial Logistics and Supply Chain is responsible to develop and sell the DP World Freight Forwarding Service across Canada. This includes adding value to customers and supporting the Port and Terminal businesses. As well as directing the execution of the trading strategy for each of the Canada business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop plans to implement DP world Canada Freight Forwarding strategy, including logistic parks, NVOCC/3rd Party Logistics, short sea shipping and the complete DP World Freight Forwarding product offering.
- Engage with cargo owners to ensure strong relationship management in coordination with the Commercial team; focusing on face-to-face customer interactions.
- Discover new business operations, analyze the contribution to our business and coordinate the resources required to implement new services, as required.
- Assess financial and economic issues to identify trade opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with senior management by providing updates and solutions on areas related to the business impact of projects.
- Assist with pricing structure and financial models of the different services of DP World Freight Forwarding Services to assess the future profitability of business opportunities.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Degree in business, commerce or a related field with knowledge of economics and quantitative analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of general management experience from another 3PL with NVOCC license is an asset.
- Successful management of all key stakeholder relationships including shareholders and external government agencies.
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Proven business acumen and experience with managing and understanding complex commercial contracts.
- Strong commitment to client service excellence with the ability to build solid relationships.
- Knowledge of statistics, analysis of macro-economic trends affecting the business, business metrics and financial basics.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate and conduct formal presentations.
- Knowledge of strategic planning processes with the ability to develop short and long term project planning and manage the financial costs of projects
- Must be fluent in English and French.
- Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries.
