About the role

Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment. Assist health care professionals. Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments. Examine the patient. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
