About the role

Position Overview

The Biomedical / Clinical Equipment Inventory Coordinator is responsible for performing a comprehensive inventory of medical devices and clinical equipment across the hospital.
This role ensures accurate and reliable asset data, supports equipment lifecycle planning, and contributes to regulatory and accreditation readiness by maintaining up-to-date records in the hospital’s CMMS.

The Coordinator works within the Biomedical Engineering team and collaborates regularly with Clinical units and Support Services to locate, verify, tag, and document equipment.

Eductaion

  • College Diploma or University degree Hospital Technology Management (HTM), Biomedical Engineering, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in conduction or similar work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and navigate the hospital environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, email, data entry).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a hospital, biomedical engineering department, supply chain, or facilities environment.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment and/or CMMS asset managementsystems.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clinical staff and leadership.
