Being a key administrative pillar of a strong HR and People Operations team and developing your Workday skills speaks to you? This role might be what you are looking for.
You will be focusing on:
Local HR Talent Support
- Initiate and assist with Workday tasks for promotions, departures, new structures, and other HR transactions.
- Support finance team with various payroll tasks.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures and administrative processes for the Montreal office.
- Develop orientation schedules and coordinate new hire onboarding.
- Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to emails received in the HR mailbox.
- Serve as backup for the individual overseeing maternity and parental leave administration for the Montreal and Quebec City offices, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legal requirements.
- Administer employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate and support events for the Montreal office to promote employee engagement and drive culture such as United Way activities, social events, lunch & learn sessions, etc.
National People Operations Support
- Process HR invoices, fitness reimbursement and education reimbursement requests nationally.
- Produce national payroll form reports and disseminate reports to Payroll team.
- Triage and respond to tier 1 Service Now tickets, solve problems as required, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process adjustments in Workday (e.g. correcting hires, attendance, job changes, worker history and terminations).
- Monitor all Workday business processes and follow up with P&D, firm members and team managers on incomplete Workday processes.
- Run ad-hoc and scheduled reports and distribute to various stakeholders.
- Coordinate work with other team members to ensure support provided within appropriate response times.
- Participate in semi-annual Workday release process and collaborate with team regarding impact on existing processes and procedures.
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR administration, preferably with exposure to payroll processing.
- Excellent working knowledge of Workday for HR management (strong asset).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and report generation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with internal event planning and coordination is a plus.
