Youth Service Worker (Canada Summer Jobs)

Location: Guelph, ON – In House
Positions: 2
Duration: 8 weeks (Summer 2026)
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Mon–Fri)
Wage: $17.60/hourPosition Overview
We are seeking two motivated and community-minded Youth Service Workers to support our Summer Children’s Drama Camps and community outreach programs. This role offers hands-on experience working with children, supporting creative programming, and contributing to meaningful community initiatives.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivery of Summer Drama Camps (July sessions, possible August session)
- Support children through drama, storytelling, and creative activities
- Help with props, set design, and group facilitation
- Assist with the Spirit Bundle Program (food and essential item distribution)
- Provide general administrative and program support
- Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community members
Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in working with children and youth
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Creative, organized, and reliable
- Respectful and culturally sensitive, especially when working with youth and Indigenous communities

Eligibility (Canada Summer Jobs)
