As a SDET, you will be collaborating with an agile team and continually advocate for the integrity of QA processes for all major deployments.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:
- Build and implement scalable automated quality assurance best practices.
- Test planning, documentation, and execution of functional and regression automated tests written in Java and/or Groovy.
- Actively participate in grooming/sprint planning sessions and work with product and development teams to define priorities, provide feedback concerning accuracy and testability.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple systems.
- Work with deployment teams to resolve issues and collaborate on product design.
- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends to upgrade existing practices and processes.
- Work closely with the project team, product owners and other stakeholders to develop the automated test strategy and product test plan.
- Log bugs in JIRA with steps and details to help pinpoint developmental issues.
- Maintain automated test plans and update automated test scenarios and test cases based on requirements for system integration, functional, regression and performance testing.
What we’re looking for:
Intermediate SDET role (SDET II):
- 2-5 years of experience with Python.
- 2-5 years of experience in test automation using tools like PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, or RestAssured.
- Experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks (preferably in Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Experience validating ETL pipelines, data transformations, and reporting layers.
- Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Hive, SQL, Allure and Great Expectations.
Senior SDET role (SDET III):
- 5+ years of experience with Python.
- 3+ years of expertise in test automation using tools like PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, or RestAssured.
- At least 2+ years of leading projects or initiatives within an agile environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Proven ability to develop test automation frameworks, preferably using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Direct experience in validating ETL pipelines, data transformations, and reporting layers.
- Knowledge and experience with tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, Hive, SQL, Allure and Great Expectations.

$88,000.00 - $106,000.00
