We are looking for a Specialist Performance Management to join our team. In this role you will collaborate across GDS to support the implementation of the future performance management framework at GDS including but not limited to the development of process and execution for strategic KPI reporting and dashboards, and external benchmarking processes.

What You Will Do:
- Support the development and implementation of a Performance Management Program (PMP) strategy and framework to align with the organization's key goals, objectives and indicators to measure progress
- Apply reporting processes to track and report results against goals, objectives and metrics, evaluation, data collection and quality, and automation to reduce manual efforts/errors and streamline gathering process
- Collaborate with various departments to support the PMP strategy and framework, and the continuous integration of performance management targets and results aligned to our organizational goals and objectives
- Provide regular assessment of GDS performance results against industry trends, review best practices and regulatory changes related to the PMP strategy and framework, and identify enhancement opportunities
- Lead the change management and rollout of the PMP strategy and framework across GDS including delivery of training and workshops for PMP, inspiring organizational adoption and alignment
- Develop and maintain comprehensive tools, processes and documents to effectively facilitate and track the PMP results, strategy and framework
- Support the initiatives for alignment of metrics and metric reporting across GDS, to provide leadership consistent and reliable performance information for decision making
Who You Are:
- Related university degree in Business Administration, Statistics or related subject area and seven (7) or more years of directly related experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.
- Proven experience in performance management or related work with strong understanding of performance management principles and practices.
- Strategic thinker with effective problem solving skills to help drive future state concepts and approaches to performance management.
- Effective interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships, communicating and influencing processes.
- Extremely organized, setting clear objectives, creating schedules, prioritizing workload and coordinating resources to ensure efficient workflow and successful outcomes while tracking and reporting results.
- Experience supporting large-scale initiatives which engage multi-disciplinary expertise and senior level decision makers with multiple initiatives running in parallel.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with ability to communicate and present to senior/executive leaders.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience in the natural gas industry with strong comprehensive knowledge and experience in one of the following business areas: Regulatory, Operations, Engineering, Customer Care, Finance, Energy Services, Energy Conservation.
- Certified Performance Management Professional (CPMP).
- Change Management Certification.
- Benchmarking experience – measuring, comparing to industry and competitors.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment with 15-20% business travel required. Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record.
