About the role
Summer Camp Facilitator – Oxford Learning Waterdown Oxford Learning Waterdown is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Facilitator to support our 8-week Summer Camp program .
Schedule Monday – Friday
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
July 6 – August 28
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage small groups of campers (ages 4–12)
- Guide students through pre-planned academic activities including reading, writing, math, and STEM projects
- Help facilitate theme-based camp activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play
- Support special guest visits and group activities
- Ensure a safe, positive, and organized environment for all campers
- Assist with snack time and transitions between activities
Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys working with children
- Energetic, patient, and responsible
- Comfortable managing small groups of students
- Experience working with children in camps, schools, tutoring, or childcare is an asset
- Students in Education, Teaching, Child & Youth Studies, or related programs are encouraged to apply
All camp activities and materials are planned and prepared by the centre , so the facilitator’s role is to lead, supervise, and keep campers engaged throughout the day .
Job Type : Part-time
Salary : $16 - $18 / hour
