Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for the delivery of Matrix Theory and Linear Algebra I (MATH 1030.03) in the upcoming summer term. The contract dates for teaching/ delivery are from May 1 to June 30.
The topics to be covered in the course are available from the Department Chair. Course descriptions are provided in the Undergraduate Calendar published online (https://academiccalendar.dal.ca) by the Registrar’s Office, Dalhousie University.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position
A combination of M.Sc. degree in Mathematics or Statistics and previous teaching experience is required. Completion of a PhD or PhD in progress is considered an asset. Experience with course delivery in an online environment is also an asset. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter.

Salary Range/Pay Rate
Per CUPE Collective Agreement - Local 3912
