About the role
Job description:
The Project Commercial Analyst works alongside the Lead Commercial Manager and the Project Manager to support effective project execution. The role performs a range of administrative and coordination tasks to support the Project Commercial Manager, in full compliance with corporate requirements and confidentiality policies. The following responsibilities form the core of this role in our Canadian team.

Create and maintain project structures (WBS) and related master data in SAP and applicable project tools.

Maintain action logs and support tracking of commercial risks, issues, and mitigation actions.

Prepare and consolidate internal and external project reporting (dashboards, cost summaries, forecast inputs)
-
Assist with change management activities by assembling change order requests and supporting claim documentation for review.
-
Support cash flow tracking and basic working-capital monitoring (invoicing status, collections inputs, cost timing).
-
Support milestone invoicing preparation in line with contract terms (draft packages, backup documentation, internal coordination).

Support project cost tracking and controlling activities, including periodic cost reviews and follow-ups with stakeholders.

Support the preparation and follow-up of bonds and letters of credit (data gathering, forms, coordination).

Prepare and compile the documentation required to support treasury hedging activities.

Compile timesheets and supplier invoices required for customer claims and invoicing support; maintain audit-ready records.

Complete data entry and gather information across departments and with internal/external stakeholders as required.

Provide coordination and basic support for project tools (updates, user guidance, minor troubleshooting).

Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities using ETL automation, standardized datasets (single source of truth), and Power BI dashboards. Why do you fit the profile? Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent computer skills and of the Microsoft Office suite.

Great attention to details.

Ability to work with little supervision while respecting deadlines and time constraints.

Works efficiently with a team.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (an asset).
-
Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP + SUMIF formulas, Pivot tables).

Experience assessing business workflows and identifying automation opportunities using automated ETL processes, a governed “single source of truth” dataset approach, and Power BI reporting.

Project Management skills (an asset);
