The Opportunity
Deveraux Apartment Communities has been a comprehensive, professional property management firm since 2011, currently managing more than 6100 multi-family apartment units across Regina, Moose Jaw, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary.
As aLead Landscape Technician, you hold a key leadership role and report directly to the Facilities Manager. You are responsible for coordinating daily grounds operations, guiding landscape team members, and ensuring all work meets Deveraux’s standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. This role is physically demanding and requires someone with strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to take ownership of tasks, decisions, and outcomes.
Availability to work weekends, overtime, and 10-hour shifts is a requirement.

What you bring...
- Two years of landscaping experience preferred
- Functional verbal and written English skills required for safety and communication
- Strong leadership abilities with a commitment to accountability and high-quality service
- High attention to detail and strong customer service mindset
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with landscaping tools and equipment (Aerators, Power Rakes, Power washers, line painting tools, etc.)
- Experience with bobcats or skid steers considered an asset
- Availability to work weekends, overtime, and 10-hour shifts is a must
- Ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and follow tasks through to completion
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required due to site travel and operation of company vehicles (class 3 would be considered an asset)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of essential job duties
You will...
- Lead, support, and coordinate the landscaping team to ensure high standards of maintenance, safety, and appearance
- Take accountability for prioritizing tasks, monitoring work quality, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Oversee and verify snow removal activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site standards
- Monitor weather conditions and respond proactively to ensure resident and property safety
- Make informed decisions and follow through on all actions until resolution
- Perform essential physical tasks including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, weed control, top dressing, and sprinkler maintenance
- Maintain and ensure safe operation of equipment, tools, and machinery
- Plan and perform minor landscaping repairs and vegetation replacement
- Assist with lot cleaning, line painting, sanding, shoveling, and property upkeep
- Support Maintenance Technicians with suite turns and work orders during slower landscaping periods

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
