About the role
Boart Longyear is seeking a contract specialist to support our Drilling Services Canada operations teams. This is a full-time role out of the Haileybury, ON.
The primary responsibility of this role will be preparation and participation in tendering processes, as well as supporting current contracts and complete invoicing. The key success of this role lies in the coordination, preparation and submission of quality tender documents.
This role will be supporting the Coring, Sonic and Rotary Divisions
Responsibilities:

Assist with tender submissions, compiling support documents and bid requirements.

Manage bid approval/ tracking platform.

Provide effective administrative assistance to the operations and commercial divisions of Canada.

Vacation relief for invoicing team
-
Manage online Client platforms
-
Complete monthly invoice audits
-
Prepare monthly reports
-
Code and approve monthly warehouse charges
-
Assist with reviewing and approving invoices when required
-
Knowledgeable in Oracle and CorePlan
Education and Experience
- Experience within the mining industry is an asset;
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting or finance is preferred;
- Strong computer skills, including extensive experience using Microsoft Excel;
- Experience using Oracle and CorePlan is an asset;
- Strong analytical, coordination, organization, time-management, and communication skills;
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule as needed;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines;
- Ability to work well as an individual with minimal supervision.
