12 Month Contract Position - Based in Vaughan (Ontario, Canada) Key Responsibilities Employee Experience & Engagement
- Lead and continuously evolve onboarding programs to ensure new hires feel welcomed, supported, and ready to thrive
- Coordinate engagement activities, team huddles, recognition programs, and other initiatives that strengthen culture across the RSC
- Support the execution of engagement surveys and follow-up action planning
Performance, Learning & Development
- Partner with leaders to support performance management, IDPs, and succession planning
- Lead targeted development programs that build capability and career growth
- Share learning insights across IOM and track key talent metrics
Social Purpose – Equal Slice
- Lead execution of Equal Slice, our program supporting unlocking opportunities Canadian entrepreneurs
- Liaise with program partners and alumni, and support marketing and storytelling
Employee Relations & Policy
- Provide consistent, constructive guidance on employee relations matters
- Support policy communication, including health & safety, and ensure compliance with Canadian legislation
Benefits, HR Operations & Systems
- Lead all aspects of benefits administration (health, wellness, leaves, accommodations), serving as the main contact for employees and vendors
- Maintain accuracy of employee data and partner with the Global HRIS COE on system updates and enhancements
- Coordinate open role logistics with the Global Recruitment COE, including job postings and workflow
- Support total rewards processes and projects in partnership with the Total Rewards COE
- Support payroll processes with the Payroll Shared Services team and ensure accurate, aligned execution
- Serve as a liaison with IOM and Global People partners to ensure seamless delivery of core HR processes
Office Operations (Light)
- Support office operations including supplies, space planning, and culture touchpoints
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices
- Strong communicator and relationship builder across local and global teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, Oracle)
- Passionate about building culture, developing talent, and making work better for everyone
Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000 annually. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
