Job Description

The Registered Dietitian reports to the Manager, Home Dialysis and Multi-Care Kidney Clinic.

Accountabilities:

Provide nutrition intervention and education to renal patients Provide group-based education, individual counseling sessions and facilitates dietary workshops as needed Participate in peritoneal dialysis and pre-dialysis clinics Project work may be required

Qualifications

Practical training in an accredited practical program in Canada or equivalent Member in good standing (good character and conduct) and membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required Language proficiency in English required Record of ethical and competent practice Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and group facilitation skills Ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team Experience in an outpatient renal program would be an asset to this position Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Travel between and work at all Osler sites required Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration

Additional Information

Hours: Currently days/evenings,8 hours shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:

Minimum: $43.30 per hour

Maximum: $55.47 per hour
