About the role
Vernon Camp - Security (Temporary)
We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Guards to provide security coverage at a military camp environment. This position requires strong professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to work within a structured and disciplined setting.
This is a temporary assignment (July 4 - August 23) with the possibility of continued casual employment with Paladin Security based on operational needs, attendance, performance, and business requirements.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure assigned areas and access points
- Conduct foot patrols and mobile patrols as required
- Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access
- Monitor for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
- Provide professional customer service and communication with site personnel and visitors
- Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and security protocols
Qualifications
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License considered an asset
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to conduct patrols and remain active for extended periods
- First Aid certification considered an asset
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass any required background screening and site clearance requirements
- Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Availability for flexible scheduling is preferred
