Qualifications:
- Training and experience in French Immersion
- Experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at the Junior High level
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Strong classroom management
- Experience teaching in an alternative and flexible learning environment
- Experience leading Educational Assistants in a classroom setting
- Experience with level B assessment would be considered an asset
- Strong planning, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
- Assessment literate
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
