Saturn has an opportunity for a full-time Senior Records Analyst based in the Calgary, Alberta office. Reporting to the Supervisor, Records, some specific duties, and responsibilities of the Senior Records Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure records management practices comply with regulatory requirements and meet internal business needs.
- Review geological records for completeness in corporate systems as well has government sites. Address gaps as appropriate to ensure regulatory compliance and robust data sets.
- Support Acquisition & Divestiture activity including preparing virtual data room; inventory & integrate large volumes of Well, Geology, Land, Facilities and Environmental data into master data collections, prepare & track outgoing data in various media forms for delivery to purchaser.
- Perform tasks required in the records digitization program including preparing paper documents for imaging, utilizing high speed scanning equipment and software; conducting quality control checks to verify clarity, alignment and accuracy; leveraging scripts for automated document naming, folder creation and electronic filing; seeking opportunities for further process automation.
- Support information management systems, including facilitating data organization and clean-up activities; providing oversight to ensure accurate metadata capture; perform quality control, audits and gap analysis of data repositories, processes and procedures.
- Participate in continuous process improvement by reviewing and updating policies and program governance framework that facilitate adoption and compliance of information management practices across the organization.
- Support routine destruction process for records in offsite storage
- Maintain detailed logs of scanning activities.
- Index & barcode paper records as required for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Monitor shared department email and process requests from internal departments.
- Electronic filing in accordance with corporate policies.
Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- A minimum of 10 years industry experience in a records/information management role.
- Knowledge of Acquisition & Divesture processes.
- Experience in information governance and document management, business process analysis, information risk management, knowledge management and enterprise content management.
- Certified Records Manger (CRM), Records Management Certificate, Library and Information Technology, Information Governance accreditation or equivalent experience preferred
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
