Position Summary To help continue to fuel our growth, we are looking for a team-oriented, business savvy, and passionate Data Analyst to expand our Data Science team.

Reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics, the Data Analyst is responsible for executing and enhancing Trulioo’s batch data evaluation process, a critical component of our sales cycle. This role supports prospective customer evaluations by managing data intake, cleaning and processing datasets through Trulioo’s APIs, conducting analysis, and delivering insights that help drive revenue outcomes.

In addition to executing high-priority evaluations under tight deadlines, this role will contribute to automation initiatives and process modernization efforts to help the team scale efficiently. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fundamentals with critical thinking, attention to detail, operational rigor, and excellent communication skills.

This will be a full-time, permanent position working out of the Vancouver office on a hybrid model (3-days per week in the office).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Execute end-to-end batch evaluation projects, from customer data intake to final analysis and results delivery.
  • Clean, transform, and validate large datasets (including sensitive PII data) to ensure compatibility with Trulioo’s production API environment.
  • Process data using internal batch tooling, managing throughput and monitoring for potential system constraints.
  • Conduct structured data analysis to evaluate product performance and generate outcome-based insights aligned to customer objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Solutions Consulting teams to support client-facing presentations and explain technical findings clearly.
  • Examine datasets to identify trends, anomalies, limitations, and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of raw results files and customer-ready presentation materials.
  • Identify inefficiencies within the batch workflow and contribute to automation, tooling enhancements, and AI-driven process improvements.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders across Data Science, Sales, Service Delivery, and Product teams to ensure alignment and timely project execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst, analytics, or technical operations role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business with a quantitative specialization, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience gathering, cleaning, transforming, and validating complex datasets, including assessing data quality and completeness.
  • Proficiency working with relational databases in a SQL environment.
  • Experience using Python for data analysis, scripting, or automation.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Nice To Have

  • Experience in fraud prevention, identity verification, fintech, compliance, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with process automation or workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, or batch processing systems.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted tools or modern data processing technologies.
