Assistant/Associate Full Professor, Cardiologist, Clinical Scientist
About the role
Position Description
The Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time cardiologist to join the Division of Cardiology. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide clinical care in cardiology, including inpatient and outpatient services.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in cardiovascular medicine.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the Division.
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or equivalent.
- Certification in Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Preferred:
- Advanced training in a subspecialty of cardiology.
- A strong track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience in leading research projects and securing funding.
Additional Information
This position is subject to the availability of funding and the approval of the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible.
