About the role

Job Description As the Member Experience & Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging events that reflect DLL’s mission and values. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will collaborate across teams and with external partners to design, coordinate, and evaluate internal events that energize our workplace and foster meaningful connections.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable experiences that champion member culture and engagement.

Day to Day Event Planning, Execution & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of internal events, including community activities and member celebrations
  • Coordinate all logistics—venue, catering, A/V, transportation, accommodations—and manage vendor relationships for seamless delivery
  • Develop timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, and conduct post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement
  • Optimize coordination through a centralized calendar and identify opportunities for efficiency and sustainability
  • Monitor ROI and feedback, capturing stories and data to demonstrate impact and inform future strategy
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and sustainability in event planning

Culture, Engagement & Experience

  • Design and implement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values
  • Collaborate with leadership to align cultural programming with company values
  • Organize employee recognition, wellness programs, and engagement experiences while serving as a culture ambassador
  • Design inclusive event experiences that reflect DLL values and foster community connection
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with speakers, vendors, internal teams, and key stakeholders

Resource Management

  • Maintain event playbooks, guidelines, and internal webpages; manage digital assets like photos and forms
  • Support office operations including deliveries, storage organization, and ad hoc logistical needs.
  • Administration tasks, preparing and presenting reports
  • Own and maintain a comprehensive event calendar and ensure organizational visibility
  • Track expenses, ensure budget alignment, prepare outcome reports (participation rates and ROI), and uphold health, safety, and accessibility standards

Essentials

  • Post secondary education required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in successful event management, communications, public relations, fundraising and/or project coordination in a virtual and in-person environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret event data and generate actionable insights
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusion best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective business correspondence and collaboration
  • Creative mindset focused on enhancing customer experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a hybrid environment (minimum 2 days/week in-office)
  • Flexibility to shift priorities and complete tasks within set deadlines

  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Applicable pay range $52,323 - $78,484

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are subject to eligibility.
