We are currently seeking an instructor to facilitate the course Ai for Leaders. This course is specifically designed to transition non-technical managers and executives from general AI awareness to confident, strategic action with AI.
Role Overview
The instructor is responsible for delivering course content dynamically and engagingly; implementing and grading assignments/projects; and actively implementing the course curriculum. As an instructor, you will observe and adhere to all company policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Share industry-related knowledge, expertise, and passion with the students
- Respond to student inquiries and provide feedback to students in a respectful and timely manner
- Develop and maintain a supportive learning community
- Provide guidance and support to adult learners
- Deliver course content using Brightspace/D2L Learning Management System (LMS)
- Deliver instruction that meets program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Evaluate student performance fairly, promptly, and consistently.
- Collaborate with teams to contribute positively to the student experience
- Support the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Act in a manner that upholds the professional expectations and standards of Robertson College
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration (MBA), Data Science, Organizational Leadership, or Computer Science.
- Specialized Certifications: Post-graduate certificates in AI Strategy, Machine Learning for Business (e.g., from MIT, Stanford, or Oxford), or professional designations like PMP (Project Management Professional) with an AI focus are an asset.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading a digital transformation, implementing AI tools (like predictive analytics or generative AI workflows), or managing data-driven teams.
- Experience in crafting AI Governance policies, managing ethical implications, or overseeing the ROI of technology investments.
- Knowledge of frameworks for integrating AI into HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
- Deep understanding of AI bias, data privacy, and the societal impact of automation.
- Experience delivering training to adults for professional or educational purposes.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (D2L preferred).

LOCATION AND HOURS OF WORK
This position is remote.
The hours of work can vary based on enrollment levels and academic support
learners may seek as micro-courses are completed in a self-paced manner. Instructors can expect to spend 1 - 4 hours per week instructing the course.
