About South Peace Division of Family Practice
The South Peace Division of Family Practice serves Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, and Dawson Creek, fostering innovation in health care. As a nonprofit society, it unites family physicians and nurse practitioners to improve access to primary care, enhance provider influence on health policies, and support professional development. Part of a BC-wide initiative, the Division collaborates with Northern Health, the Family Practice Services Committee, First Nations Health Authority, and the Ministry of Health to identify and address local health care needs. By working together, members create sustainable solutions to strengthen health care delivery in the region.
