WHO WE ARE
United Transportation Driver Training, a division of Steve’s Livestock Transport, is one of the largest Class 1 driver training schools in Manitoba. With an excellent reputation for quality training and extremely high passing rates, we believe that thorough education is essential to be successful in the trucking industry.
We are looking to add a full-time Class 1 Driver Instructor to our team in Blumenort, MB.
THE ROLE
As a Driver Instructor, you will provide practical in-class and hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment. You will incorporate innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience of students and help them achieve learning outcomes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A valid Class 1 license
- 500,000 km or 6,000 hours Class 1 driving experience in the last 10 years
- Have or are willing to obtain a Class 1 Instructor Permit
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Clean Driving Abstract
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Previous instructing experience an asset

About Steve's Livestock Transport
Founded in 1987 as a one-man operation, Steve's Livestock Transport has since grown to become North America's largest commercial livestock transportation company. Over the last 25 years, we have expanded to include a dry freight division. We have three locations to serve our customers, in Blumenort and Brandon, Manitoba and Acme, Alberta.
We have a fleet of 130 power units, transporting more than 2,500 cattle and 150,000 pigs per week within Canada and the United States. All 3 of our locations have commercial washing and repair facilities for trucks and trailers. In addition to servicing our own units, these facilities provide custom washing and repairs for other large equipment and fleets as well.
