Hybrid Schedule - 4 days in office - please note that this position can be filled in our Vancouver or Calgary office.
Norton Rose Canada LLP is seeking a Client Billing Specialist. This position reports directly to the Client Billing Team Leader for Western Canada.
You will be focusing on:
- Perform billing-related tasks for complex matters of the assigned lawyers: invoicing, distribution of pro formas, proofreading, changes to time entries, write-offs and transfers
- Produce reports and tables tailored to the expressed needs of professionals and clients
- Provide client service to internal and external clients for assigned accounts and respond to various requests in the allotted time
- Make sure budgets and comprehensive billing agreements are adhered to
- Manage all aspects of the E-billing process
- Assist with month-end process
- Manage requests sent to a common email box
- Liaise with the client billing specialists Perform any other related duties
What you bring to the role:
- Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate area
- Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in a similar position
- Previous experience in law firm or professional service firm is an asset
- Solid knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with good problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
- Willing to take initiative and to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in order to accommodate work demands
- Bilingualism (French / English) is an asset
- Discretion
Vancouver Salary: $56,679.00 - $92,095.50. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience.
