Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible to ensure the smooth functioning of food services events and service area including overseeing food services employees and liaising with customers. Work is performed under general guidance.

Accountabilities

  1. Provide friendly, timely and courteous service to customers.
  2. Oversee casual staff and ensure high customer service standards are upheld. Escalate issues to manager.
  3. Process routine cash registrar transactions based on departmental guidelines.
  4. Place routine change orders into the system.
  5. Update and maintain correspondence and files in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a similar environment.

Working Conditions
Work is conducted in a kitchen, office and/or serving facility with exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Required to stand for long periods of time. Required to wear non-slip, non-skid plain black work shoes as well as Hospitality Services uniform.

Not responsible for placing orders with suppliers.
Not responsible for authorizing payroll or food costs
