Position Overview:

This role supports campus finance operations and student financial planning. You will guide students through payment options, financial aid, and government funding while supporting campuses with financial processes, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with students to develop payment plans and financial assistance options using government funding, scholarships, and personal resources.
  • Provide guidance to students on funding options, OSAP applications, and financial aid processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for campus finance inquiries, offering clear guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Manage financial aid application processes and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Monitor and process student financial transactions such as deposits, refunds, accounts receivable, and adjustments.
  • Continuously review and improve finance processes; ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the Regional Director of Operations and assist with compliance and special projects.
  • Maintain a professional, student-focused approach and contribute to a positive campus experience.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances, funding confirmation, and handling collections in a timely and professional manner for Central Region.
  • File and maintain finance-related documentation as required, including funding confirmations and other financial paperwork for central region.
  • Assisting Regional finance coordinators and compliance for region.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a service-oriented environment.
  • Experience with OSAP or other student financial aid processes is an asset
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; strong analytical and data-entry abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with campus teams.
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to quality service and continuous improvement.
