We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, GDS Revenue in our North York Ontario office. This role plays a key part in the month-end close and forecasting processes for the GDS Revenue team. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of the Company’s Storage and Transportation market.

What You Will Do
- Independently contributes to the Storage and Transporation month end close process for the GDS Revenue team and ensures compliance with key controls.
- Supports reporting tasks and functions relative to the Storage and Transportation market and Contract Market
- Provides valuable analysis and management reporting driving business decisions, on a periodic and ad-hoc basis
- Prepares the various account reconciliations assigned to the group related to Storage and Transportation and Contract Market
- Liaises internally with subject matter experts, as well as internal/external auditors
- Assists in the preparation of EGI’s S&T and Contract Market multi-year volume & revenue budget/forecast
- Identify areas of improvement in processes and related systems to increase efficiency
- Provides support relative to Storage and Transportation and Contract Market processes to other members of the Revenue team
Who You Are
- University Degree (preference for business or related degree) and is a designated CPA or working towards an Accounting Designation
- 2+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role or relevant business process experience
- Ability to perform in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with prioritizing work and implementing processes and ongoing process improvements to streamline and optimize work
- Proven team player, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
- Strong demonstrated competencies in interpersonal skills, oral and written communications, persuasion and influencing skills.
- Superior computer skills including knowledge and experience with the following programs: SAP, EPBCS, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI
Working Conditions
- Office environment
- Limited to no travel
- May be required to work overtime during peak periods
