Zender Ford is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accountant & Office Administrator to support our dealership’s financial operations and administrative functions. This key role combines precision with people leadership — ideal for someone who thrives in a busy automotive environment and enjoys keeping both numbers and operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Deal Processing
- Post daily vehicle sales deals accurately into the accounting system.
- Reconcile deal paperwork, commissions, and ensure compliance with manufacturer and internal requirements.
- Manage monthly remittances and schedules.
- Support month-end close and assist with financial reporting.
- Liaise with management and sales teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deal submissions.
Administration & Office Management
- Supervise reception and front-office staff, ensuring excellent customer service and professional conduct.
- Oversee general administrative operations — supplies, mail, filing, and correspondence.
- Oversee all facility maintenance, ensuring proper compliance and inspections as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and paper records for accounting, HR, and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and HR administration as needed.
- Support dealership management with reporting and other operational tasks.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of accounting or office administration experience (automotive dealership experience is a strong asset).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
- Experience posting sales deals or working with dealership management systems (PBS is preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; Excel skills required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
