Location: Courtesy Ford Lincoln
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
Position Summary
Courtesy Ford Lincoln is seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Porter to support our Service department. This role is often the first point of contact for customers and plays an important part in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience. The Porter position involves a combination of customer interaction, vehicle handling, and lot organization in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome incoming clients in a friendly and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate department or advisor
- Apply protective materials (seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, etc.) to incoming service vehicles
- Park service vehicles appropriately and safely according to dealership procedures
- Manage the car wash area and ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for customer pickup
- Retrieve and bring customer vehicles to the service drive when customers are checking out
- Shuttle customers to and from nearby locations as required
- Move vehicles between dealership locations and off-site lots as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and vehicle storage areas
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies when operating vehicles
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate a wide range of vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, and be on your feet for extended periods
