About the role
Duties:
- Will be expected to attend morning safety briefings on behalf of utility, Monitor the attendance and equipment that contractor has on site each day.
- Keep records of work preformed each day, span counts, tree types, type of trimming done. Preform QA/QC on the work preformed before it is approved for invoicing to utility.
- Monitor safety of crew working, address unsafe work practices and work to preform work with safest possible outcome.
- Candidate will be expected to have the ability to travel throughout the province and work Monday to Friday.
Skills:
- Ability to multitask and preform in a fast passed detail oriented environment.
- Technology proficient for use on record keeping software as well as company payroll and reporting software.
- Experience with utility or knowledge of utility based operations and or hazards presented by utility base operations is important.
- Ability to work with others in large groups and take on a leadership role to address issue with safety and work is important.
Certifications:
- Class 5 drivers Licenses with clean drivers abstract
- Utility electrical awareness
- First aid CPR level C
- WHMIS
- Defensive driving
- Background check will be preformed
- Courses will be provided if required
