About the role
Pulp Moulded Products is a leading provider of customized protective packaging with a commitment to producing zero waste packaging. We are looking for a shipper/receiver/material handler to join our growing team.
The Shipping/Receiving/Material Handler is responsible for the safe and accurate flow of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive inbound shipments of raw materials, including bales of recycled fiber.

Verify quantities, lot numbers, and condition of all incoming materials against packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders; identify and document any shortages, overages, or damage.

Receive materials into the ERP/WMS system accurately and in a timely manner.

Pick, stage, and load finished moulded fiber products for outbound shipment to customers, distribution centers, and contract pack partners.

Verify pick lists, shipping labels, lot numbers, and quantities against the shipping order; ensure the right product goes to the right customer.

Build, wrap, and secure pallets to protect lightweight, easily-crushed moulded fiber products in transit.

Prepare and process shipping documentation: bills of lading, packing lists, customer-specific labels, ASNs, and any export paperwork.

Conduct trailer inspections (cleanliness, dryness, no odors, no pests) before loading to maintain food-safe and clean-room shipment standards.

Supply production lines with raw materials, packaging supplies (cartons, dividers, stretch wrap), and consumables.

Move finished goods from the end of production lines to staging, QA hold or finished goods warehouse locations.

Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and clamp trucks safely and within rated capacity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Current forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn an ERP/WMS system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent) and RF scanning.
- Ability to read pick lists, BOLs, packing slips, shipping labels, and SDS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, counts, and documentation.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Experience

Experience in pulp & paper moulded fibre packaging, food packaging, or other paper based manufacturing.

Experience working in facilities with food-contact, BPI compostable or recycled-content certifications.
