About The Role. In this role, you'll spearhead our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality food products, relying on your analytical expertise to achieve this mission. Your responsibilities include safeguarding product quality and safety through meticulous customer data analysis across our 15 NA manufacturing plants. Your insights and recommendations will guide data-centric decisions to elevate our food safety and quality standards, ensure protection, and uphold our esteemed reputation for excellence.

Objectives What you’ll be doing.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain cutting-edge analytical systems, streamlining complex issues.
  • Identify growth opportunities within intricate data sets for organizational advancement.
  • Assess existing methodologies and provide data documentation.
  • Create data-driven reports through mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency and anomalies while establishing data handling protocols.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with management and users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer data for safety and health concerns, encompassing complaints, feedback, and incident reports.
  • Identify trends and patterns affecting food safety and customer health.
  • Prioritize and address potential safety and health risks through risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and safety protocols closely with quality assurance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards through recommendations.
  • Convey insights and recommendations via regular reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
  • Share information and best practices regarding food safety and health with internal and external partners.
  • Stay current with relevant food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage a secure data repository for customer health and safety data, implementing data management best practices to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Correlate trends in internal audits to external audits and, with the help of factory stakeholders, build action plans.

Correlate trends of multiple data streams (ex., Audits, FTQ, sensory results, complaints), find trends and help make data-driven decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, especially in food-related or health and safety contexts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Demonstrating the ability to provide meaningful insights from customer data that can be used to make informed business decisions.
  • Effectively identifying and resolving data errors or inconsistencies when they arise, minimizing the impact on business operations.
  • Contributing ideas for process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency in data-related tasks.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and elevate the current state using data.

Compensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
