Are you passionate about football, full of energy, and love being in front of a crowd? The Saskatchewan Roughriders are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual to lead our Hype Team!
As the leader of this dynamic crew, you’ll be at the heart of the action—firing up fans, throwing out swag, and creating unforgettable experiences throughout Mosaic Stadium.
Members of the Hype Team are more than just game-day staff—they are leaders in creating the energy and atmosphere of Rider Nation. In this role, you will help guide the fan experience, set the tone for excitement in the stadium, and support the coordination of in-game entertainment moments.
This is a part-time, game-day position ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, team-oriented environment and wants to help make every home game electric.
Requirements
Where will your talents be focused?
(Includes but is not limited to)
- Lead and coordinate the Hype Team during game-day activations
- Review the game-day script and inventory sheet to ensure all activations are distributed at the correct times and in the appropriate locations
- Engage with fans in the concourse and stands
- Distribute prizes and assist with giveaways
- Serve as an ambassador for the Saskatchewan Roughriders
- Lead crowd engagement moments and encourage fan participation
- Support the execution of in-game entertainment and promotional elements
- Act as a visible leader for energy and excitement throughout the stadium
What is needed to be successful?

- Energetic & Outgoing: Comfortable being in front of crowds and maintaining high energy levels
- Leadership Mindset: Ability to lead fan engagement moments and guide the Hype Team
- Team Oriented: Works well with others to create a cohesive fan experience
- Adaptable: Able to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate: Genuine enthusiasm for the team and sport
- Professional: Maintains a positive image and represents the organization well
- Communication: Strong communication skills with team members and game-day staff
- Physical stamina, high energy levels, and ability to support labour tasks that may include lifting
- Applicants must be available for all Saskatchewan Roughriders home games.

About Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a Canadian Football League Team with over 100 years of history. In recent years the Roughriders (Riders) have routinely led the CFL in revenue generation and fan support including ticket sales, social media engagement and TV viewership. Roughrider home games are played at Mosaic Stadium where a sea of fans dressed in green cover over 33,000 seats. The Riders sell more branded merchandise than all of the other CFL teams combined and with a following across Canada and the US, the Riders regularly sell out home games and draw large crowds at away games. The success of the Roughriders comes despite being the smallest metro area in the North America to have a franchise among top 6 professional sports leagues (CFL, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, NBA).
