The Opp****ortunityVoPay is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team and help VoPay successfully manage engagements with the product/project teams, partners, and clients, and deliver on agreed time, quality, and budget. This role provides the opportunity to lead the coordination and management of technology projects between internal stakeholders (technology/development/product teams) and external stakeholders (technology partners and clients).
RoleIn this role, the Technical Project Manager will act as a lead for:

Bridging Technical & Product Needs: Understands and translates complex technical requirements into strategic/tactical/operational plans that support the product roadmap and business goals.

Managing Product Development / Project Delivery: Manages the end-to-end execution of technical initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and quality of the SaaS product.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with engineering teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Oversight: Deeply involved in the technical aspects of the product, which may include complex backend systems, APIs, or data platforms, requiring a strong technical background.

Product Lifecycle Support: Contributes to various stages of the product lifecycle, from the initial concept and development to implementation for clients, ensuring a smooth product journey.
**Responsibilities:**The Technical Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Project Management

Responsibility for all assigned projects and deliverables.

Work with internal/external stakeholder teams to assess business and implementation risks, guide the technical integration process, assist with technical problem solving and manage internal resources to resolve various project issues.

Work to ensure the team’s success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and especially remove impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver.

Act as a SCRUM Master:
-
Facilitate Scrum Events: Leads daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned and focused.

Technical Problem-Solving: Participate in technical discussions, ask insightful questions, and help the team find solutions to technical problems.

Blocker Removal: Identify and remove technical impediments.
-
Technical Prioritization: Assist in sequencing product rollouts based on business priorities, technical complexities and resource capacity.

Promote Continuous Improvement: Coaches the team on how to adapt and improve their processes, leading to better outcomes and increased productivity.

Foster Collaboration: Facilitates communication and conflict resolution within the team and between the team and other stakeholders.
Processes Management

Assist the project management leadership to design, document and implement the project management SOP’s.

Champion and facilitate the adoption of the SOP’s by providing guidance and assistance as required to the internal teams.
Communication

Facilitate proactive communications between project internal and external stakeholders.

Proactively identify and communicate project-related issues, facilitate resolution, change, release management etc.

Provide timely project status, budget, and risk reporting to VoPay management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years managing complex technical projects within a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
- Experience working in a fast-paced start-up as well as a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt and adopt the methodologies to the environment
- Knowledge and experience with project management software.
- Experience in DevOps, Agile software development process/methods and tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, API etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and time constraints.
- Proven experience in prioritizing competing demands in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Experience resolving and communicating issues with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Payment industry work experience is an asset.
