Hiring: Solution Architect – Capital Markets
💰 Compensation: $100–$120/hour We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Capital Markets to join a leading enterprise organization. In this technical leadership role, you will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, defining architectural standards, and driving enterprise-wide technology initiatives that align business objectives with IT strategy. If you have a strong background in Capital Markets, enterprise architecture, API integrations, and financial technology platforms, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Design and lead scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade solution architectures. Develop home-grown solutions while configuring and integrating vendor and partner platforms. Partner with project managers, product teams, software engineers, security, and data teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Define technical requirements, identify risks, and provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Establish architecture standards, governance, best practices, and reusable design patterns. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platforms that support Capital Markets initiatives. Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate new technologies and architectural approaches. Align technical roadmaps with long-term business strategy and enterprise objectives.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect. Strong background in Capital Markets, Securities, Trading, or Financial Services.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms
Salesforce nCino Murex SmartTrade Bloomberg Fidessa NBIN Morningstar Position Watch Blue Matrix Experience designing API integrations, middleware solutions, and secure enterprise architectures. Knowledge of Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is considered an asset. Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and governance principles. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance strategic architecture planning with hands-on technical delivery.
