POSITION TITLE: Project Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Sc.wén̓wen Land Development Corporation (SLDC)

SUPERVISOR: SLDC Manager

TERMS: Full-Time, Permanent

REFERENCE #: 2026-044

Purpose of Position:

The Project Coordinator supports the delivery of SLDC-led projects by providing coordination, tracking, and administrative support across multiple project streams. The position is designed to assist the senior staff by maintaining project momentum, organizing documentation, and supporting consultant and stakeholder coordination. Its primary function is to strengthen execution, follow-through, and organizational capacity as SLDC’s project portfolio grows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Support

  • Support SLDC-led projects via task tracking, milestone monitoring, schedule coordination

  • Maintain project workplans, action lists, and follow-ups on behalf of the SLDC Manager

  • Prepare agendas, summaries, and action items for internal and external project meetings

  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies and flag items requiring direction

  • Draft and track grant/funding applications and related reports

Documentation and Records Management

  • Maintain digital project files, including contracts, correspondence, reports, and approvals

  • Support preparation of briefing notes, progress summaries, and internal reporting

  • Track consultant deliverables against scopes of work and timelines

  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and audit-ready

Consultant and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics/communications with consultants, contractors, and service providers

  • Support consultant onboarding/offboarding, including document requests and scheduling

  • Track consultant deliverables, timelines, and invoicing milestones

  • Act as a coordination point for routine project communications

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Track invoices, budgets, reports, and expense summaries for SLDC-led projects

  • Support funding claim documentation and reporting schedules

  • Assist with procurement documentation and contract administration

  • Maintain basic project cost and status trackers

  • Maintain shared project calendars and timelines across SLDC initiatives

  • Support coordination across land development, energy, and corporate projects led by SLDC

  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination and administrative efficiency

Professional Certification, Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field

  • Two (2) years experience in a project coordination, administrative, or project support role

  • Experience supporting multiple projects, priorities, or workstreams simultaneously

  • Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, or professional service providers

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Financial Responsibility

  • Assist with tracking project budgets, expenses and grants/funding

  • Process project invoices with correct budget and expense coding, in coordination with the SLDC Manager

  • Maintain organized financial and project records

Supervision or Training Duties:

  • Coordinate and support work of external consultants, service providers, or contractors, as assigned

  • Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing activities to support team capacity.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational, tracking, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital file management systems
  • Ability to work independently while supporting SLDC project delivery
  • Professional discretion and confidentiality

**HOURS OF WORK:**Normal Day shifts – 7 hours. Non-normal shifts may be required.

**PAY GRADE:**Starting at $28.50-$30.86 depending on education and experience
