About the role

Job Description Fleetway is seeking a Reliability Engineering Specialist to lead and coordinate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Availability, Reliability & Maintainability (AR&M) activities, shaping engineering designs and life cycle support products for complex systems and equipment.

As a Reliability Engineering Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness and sustainability of naval and marine systems. This position requires advanced knowledge of reliability engineering principles, maintenance program development, and analytical modeling techniques. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies that meet stringent military and commercial standards.

Responsibilities

  • Apply military and commercial specifications related to Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (RMA), FMECA, and RCM.
  • Develop and update Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) programs for complex systems and equipment.
  • Conduct reliability engineering analyses and assessments to meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize computer-based modeling and analytical techniques to evaluate reliability, maintainability, and availability targets.
  • Support implementation of Equipment Health Monitoring and Condition-Based Maintenance technologies.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and quality control documentation.

Qualifications Education

  • Certified Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineer.

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reliability engineering and RCM methodologies.
  • Proficiency with reliability modeling tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of naval/marine systems is an asset.
