The inventory control coordinator will be responsible for maintaining high level of accuracy with the inventory through robust cycle count processes, continuous training of users and transaction audits. Verifies inventory records to physical product to ensure liability is maintained at budgeted and accepted performance levels.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and input all validated credits/debits/returns in WMS / Production Systems.
  • Assure proper invoicing of accounts.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and provide investigation results.
  • Maintain accurate filing system.
  • Respond to clients promptly and report feedback to management.
  • Liaise between warehouse and customer.
  • Develop procedure manual which details the processing requirements for the WMS system.
  • Verify standing inventory counts to automated records.
  • Investigate and reports variances to management.
  • Perform and schedule regular cycle counts.
  • Conduct incidental audits of orders and receipts including location audits to preserve the integrity of the Warehouse Management System.
  • Coordinate and participate in all scheduled physical inventories on schedules dictated by the client.
  • Assist management with space utilization and availability.
  • Process damaged inventory including month end cut off procedures.
  • Communicate directly with the Client on a daily basis, provide required reports.
  • Provide recommendations for the prevention of inventory issues.
  • Other duties as required.

EDUCATION

  • Completed High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Inventory Control using a Warehouse Management System, preferably LogFire

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 – 5 years inventory control experience in a real-time environment would be preferred
  • Forklift Certified with 2 years of experience operating various MHE.
  • Previous Inventory Control experience in a fast-paced environment.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Service oriented with strong customer interaction skills and commitment.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong skill set in MS Office applications.
  • WMS experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to develop own control tools and spreadsheet reporting.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required by the facility.

**Hours:**Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
