Embedded AI Software Engineer Hybrid - Toronto (May consider remote) Full time Up to $180,000 pa plus equity
We are seeking an experienced Embedded AI Software Engineer to help develop and deploy next-generation AI solutions for edge devices. This role focuses on taking existing AI models, refining and optimising them for deployment on embedded hardware, with a particular emphasis on audio and computer vision applications.
You will work across the full AI deployment pipeline, transforming machine learning models into highly efficient, production-ready solutions capable of running on resource-constrained embedded systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience deploying AI models to embedded or edge devi ces.Strong knowledge of TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Lite Micro, TinyML, or ONNX Runt ime.Experience working with computer vision and/or audio AI mod els.Strong programming skills in C/ C++.Python for AI tooling and deployment workfl ows.Experience developing for ARM Cortex-based processors and microcontroll ers.Experience with RTOS and/or Embedded Li nux.Understanding of memory-constrained and power-constrained embedded environments.
