Job Summary:

You keep the shop moving. You make sure parts, tools and materials get to the people who need them. Reporting to the Equipment Manager and Shop Foreman, you support our mechanics, maintain inventory and help keep our fleet running safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, order and track parts, consumables and components for equipment and fleet vehicles
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock levels, returns and supplier coordination
  • Prepare work orders, issue parts and track usage in shop systems
  • Manage shipping and receiving activities, deliveries, staging and documentation
  • Maintain shop programs including oil sampling, MSDS, VMI and CMMS updates
  • Keep parts and storage areas clean, organized and aligned with safety standards
  • Support field orders, stocked items and safety materials
  • Assist with basic laptop and mobile device updates for mechanics
  • Complete paperwork for domestic and international shipments
  • Support yard clean up and equipment staging when required

Required Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in a parts, warehouse or service shop environment
  • Understanding of mechanical components for heavy equipment or on road fleet
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn inventory or CMMS platforms
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast paced shop environment
  • Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills
  • Self starter who works independently and with a small team
  • Full Ontario G-Class Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
