Floor Supervisors – Full-Time & Part Time

Location: Halifax

Opening July 2026 – Lead the floor with freshness!

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Floor Supervisor to help guide our team and create an exceptional customer experience. If you’re a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves working with people, this is your chance to be part of something exciting and new.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting daily retail operations and ensuring smooth customer flow

Leading by example—jumping in to assist with sales, service, and product knowledge Coaching and mentoring team members on the floor Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care Assisting with inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures Acting as a key point of contact between staff and management Assists with inventory control, ordering, and scheduling in coordination with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Store Manager What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service

Strong leadership and communication skills A hands-on, team-first attitude Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure Passion for food, sustainability, and creating great customer experiences Perks & Benefits:

Founded in 1964 in Liverpool, NS, Mersey Seafoods is one of Nova Scotia's largest privately owned seafood companies, exporting to international markets around the world. Mersey owns a fleet of four large fishing vessels harvesting northern shrimp, offshore scallops and groundfish with a modern scallop processing facility in Liverpool, NS and a cold storage facility in Country Harbour, NS.
