About the role
We're excited to bring Edmonton's first indoor/outdoor Nordic-inspired spa to the city this summer 2026 and are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) to join our team.
Our massage practice will integrate seamlessly with the ró nordic experience, giving guests the option to add massage treatments to their thermal circuits or book standalone sessions. Treatments at ró are designed to feel grounded, calming, and intentional — an extension of the overall experience we aim to create for every guest who walks through our doors.
The ideal fit for our team is a therapist who brings energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care to their work. We’re looking for practitioners who understand the importance of creating thoughtful guest experiences and consistently deliver high-quality treatments with presence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Deliver professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual guest needs. Review health history and discuss treatment goals prior to sessions. Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records. Educate guests on post-treatment care and wellness recommendations where appropriate. Help maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming treatment environment. Uphold all licensing requirements, safety standards, and professional regulations related to massage therapy. Contribute positively to the overall guest experience and team culture at ró.

Requirements
Active RMT or MOT certification (in good standing). Professional liability insurance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A hospitality-minded approach to guest care and service. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times. Prior experience in a clinical, spa, or wellness environment is considered an asset, though not required. A collaborative attitude and genuine enthusiasm for wellness and guest experience.
