Carrier is actively recruiting for Journeyperson Technician to join the South Western Ontario Unitary Service Team based out of Stoney Creek, ON.
The ideal candidate should be customer-focused with proven problem-solving skills. They will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain professional customer relations
- Provide equipment service and maintenance for existing customer base
- Promote Branch Work Order sales
- Comply with company Environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses
Basic Qualifications:
- Licensed HVAC Technician
- Member of Union Local 787, or eligible to become a member
- Gas Technician 1 certificate (Gas Technician 2 considered)
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC system service and maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of Commercial HVAC & DDC systems
- Proven analytical and diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused with proven problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and customer commitments
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
