As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the role of S&OP Project Manager will be pivotal in modernizing our supply chain planning capabilities across McCain Foods.

McCain is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to ensure seamless execution within their scope on a global digital transformation. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of one of our key strategic initiatives to implement best-in-class technology for Supply Chain Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). The successful candidate will bring their project management expertise to a global cross-functional team and collaborate on the build and successful deployment of the technology across all McCain regions.

This role requires a strong communicator and problem solver with demonstrated project management experience in managing large-scale, complex technology implementations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to effectively manage a diverse group of stakeholders, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and navigate the challenges and complexities inherent in deploying technology solutions on a global scale.

What you'll be doing.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation across a large-scale program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams including process design, technology solution design, data management, system configuration, training, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Track progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Lead day-to-day team activities, including standups, working sessions, and project status updates.
  • Manage project financials, ensuring spend is within approved limits and forecasts are up to date.
  • Hold vendors accountable for contractual deliverables and performance.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and leadership expectations.
  • Apply a hybrid waterfall/agile methodology; serve as Scrum Master where needed.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and adopt best practices to enhance team efficiency.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Guide teams toward swift, informed decision-making while escalating risks and issues appropriately.
  • Build strong relationships and establish trust across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Promote empowerment, collaboration, and motivation across geographically dispersed stakeholders.

What you'll need to be successful.

  • Strong project management expertise with proven ability to align stakeholders and communicate program objectives.
  • Agile mindset—adaptable, open to change, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; able to prioritize effectively and help teams focus on the work that matters most.
  • Deep understanding of both agile and traditional project management, with the ability to flex approaches to fit business needs.

Key qualifications.

  • 3+ years of IT industry experience with increasing project management leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven success managing senior leadership expectations and holding teams accountable.
  • Hands-on experience delivering work using Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Proficiency with project planning tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead globally dispersed, cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP or PgMP; Agile certifications such as CSM are a strong asset.

  • Role is hybrid, based out of one of our North American corporate offices.

Compensation Package*: $81,600.00* - $108,900.00**CAD annually + bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
